U.S Green Chamber Chairman Visits Brazil Ahead of Massive U.N.
Conference on Sustainable Development

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the first Earth Summit, which took place in Rio de Janeiro. The 1992 gathering kicked off a series of United Nations environmental conferences that have been held in places like Kyoto, Copenhagen, and – most recently – Durban, South Africa. On June 22-24 Rio will host the massive U.N. Conference on Sustainable Development (dubbed “Rio+20”). In addition there will be approximately 500 seminars and meetings prior to the Summit itself.

Sustainable Brands Conference 2012
It was a great turnout for the 2012 Sustainable Brands Conference, over 1300 people from 19 countries! The Chamber would like to thank the Sustainable Brands team. If you missed it this year, plan to join us in 2013 back in San Diego, CA.

The Golden State Is Still Golden
Earlier today Green Chamber’s CEO, David Steel, sent a rebuttal in reply to a conservative editorial called “Top Ten Reasons Why Companies Are Leaving California”. We don’t take kindly to folks dissing The Golden State, and shamelessly applaud David’s positive pin on California commerce, which stands to reap billions in economic and environmental benefits from the new Cap and Trade program.
