Equinox Center and the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) invite U.S. Green Chamber members to join other top business leaders and policy makers from the San Diego region for a luncheon event on September 14, 2011: “The Young & Restless: Winning the Race for America’s Top Talent.”
This luncheon presentation will feature Portland economist, Brookings fellow and senior policy advisor to CEOs for Cities Joseph Cortright, whose groundbreaking research on the “Young & Restless”—college-educated young adults, the backbone of our future innovation economy—has revealed some startling findings. Together, we’ll explore how the San Diego region can better attract and retain the “Young & Restless” through an integrated approach toward economic development, transportation and land use—one that may have profound environmental benefits as well.
Equinox Center is a regional, non-partisan, not for profit policy center focused on how the San Diego region can achieve a more prosperous economy, healthy environment and outstanding quality of life.
