Get Ready for Bike to Work Day
Get ready as May is National Bike Month! Most cities around the country will be having opportunities to participate in cycling activities all month long. Make sure to mark your calendars for National Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 18th! Not only is biking a fun and sustainable way to commute, but it is a great way to help your employees save money, reduce stress, and get fit .

U.S. Green Chamber Participates in the 7th Annual SDG&E Energy Showcase

The U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce will be present as an exhibitor in the 7th Annual
SDG&E Energy Showcase to help educate and spread sustainability highlighting many new technologies that not only save energy but cut costs.This free event is open to the public and is features 75 local, national, and international exhibitors who can demonstrate new technologies that will help your business’ bottom line.
There will also be multiple educational seminars throughout the day featuring
various energy-saving topics. The U.S. Green Chamber will be spreading
awareness of the Cities for Change Campaign and offering on-site sign ups.
Chemical Companies Rejoice at FDA’s Decision on BPA
This past Friday, March 30th2012, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced it will continue to allow the chemical bisphenol-A (BPA) in food and beverage containers. The decision was in response to the Natural Resource Defense Council’s 2008 petition request for a ban on BPA by March 31.
