May 23, 2012 (Orlando, FL) – At last night’s 2012 Parade of Homes Awards Ceremony, Phil Kean Designs, Inc. was presented the Grand Custom Award for the fourth year in a row. PKD’s custom home, The New American Home, won the Grand Award and PKD also received the Grand Remodel Award for its whole house remodel on Lake Sybelia. PKD received a total of six awards including the “green” LEEDer Award, Designers’ Choice Merit Award, and 1st place in its custom and remodel categories. The Parade of Homes has been an annual event in Central Florida for more than 50 years. Produced each year by the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando, the event showcases its members’ best work and provides the community an opportunity to learn about what’s new in home design and building.
