Peter Knights, CEO and Co-Founder of WildAid
Peter Knights is the CEO and co-founder of WildAid, an international nonprofit organization. WildAid is focused on saving wildlife through reducing consumer demand for products like elephant ivory, rhinoceros horn, and shark fin. He has built a $200 million pro bono network to broadcast WildAid’s powerful message: When the Buying Stops, the Killing Can Too. Dr. Ian Singleton, Director of Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme
Dr. Ian Singleton is the Director of the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP). The former zookeeper left the UK in 1996 to begin a Ph.D. study of orangutan behavior in the peat swamp forests of Suaq Balimbing. Once his thesis was completed, Dr. Singleton joined Swiss-based PanEco Foundation and the Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari to establish SOCP in 2001. Dr. Singleton can be found working to confiscate orangutans caught in the illegal pet trade and returning them to the wild. Ian is a leading expert in orangutan conservation and expert in sustainable palm oil.
